CMML
Revision as of 06:01, 28 January 2019 by DoesItReallyMatter (talk | contribs) (Update: CMML is deprecated, says Xiph. Tag as historical)
This page is obsolete and kept only for historical interest. It may document features that are obsolete, superseded, or irrelevant. Do not rely on the information here being up-to-date. |
CMML is a way of storing meta information about a file. This information can change as the file is played. It is used with Ogg media files.
It can be used for subtitles.
Support for CMML was removed in VLC media player 1.1.0 and upwards.
Xiph wiki warns that CMML is deprecated and recommends OggKate instead (as of August 2011).
