Simple Preferences

VLC definitively needs a "simple" preferences window. Here is a list of some of the settings which would be needed:

• interface settings:
  • default interface
  • one instance mode (win32 only)

• video settings:
  • output module -- Disagree. Only needs to be modified in case of problems -- User:Zorglub
  • overlay
  • aspect ratio (?)

• audio settings:
  • output module (?) -- Disagree. Only needs to be modified in case of problems -- User:Zorglub

• subtitles settings:
  • default encoding
  • size
  • color
  • font

• service discovery modules
• some "control" interfaces (http, msn, growl ...) (?)

• HTTP proxy
