Xiph.Org Foundation is a non-profit corporation dedicated to protecting the foundations of Internet multimedia from control by private interests. Their purpose is to support and develop free, open protocols and software to serve the public, developer and business markets.

Hosts Ogg, Vorbis, Opus, Theora, FLAC, Daala, Dirac, Kate, XSPF and Icecast. Kate is not a Xiph codec; the Xiph wiki hosts documentation since Kate is embedded in Ogg.
