Sorenson Video is developed by Sorenson?. The codec is most known for it's use in online QuickTime? content produced by Apple?, most prominently the Apple Trailers (cache).

There are 2 versions so far, SVQ1 and SVQ3. Their quality is quite good, but unfortunalty only QuickTime? and FFmpeg based players can play it.

VLC supports SVQ
