Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) is a protocol used by Macromedia Flash.

Compatability

Template:Unsupported As there is no open source code version of this protocol yet, it is not supported by VLC.

Additionally, RTMP uses port 1935, which may be blocked for users behind a proxy server.
