Installing VLC on Pardus GNU/Linux

You can install VLC using the PiSi program (or it's GUI, Package-Manager). vlc is in main Pardus repositories. To install, type the following: 

 $ sudo pisi install vlc

Two packages come out of the source package vlc:

  • vlc - VLC media player
  • vlc-firefox - VLC plugin for Firefox
