The Edit menu

This menu gives you access to the standard OS X Edit commands.

  • Cut the standard MacOS "cut" operation that fills the paste buffer with the selected items whilst removing the items from their current selected location,
  • Copy the standard MacOS "copy" operation that fills the paste buffer with the selected items whilst leaving the items in their current selected location,
  • Paste the standard MacOS "cut" operation that puts a copy of the paste buffer items at the current selected location,
  • Clear some text,
  • Select All the standard MacOS operation that selects all items in the current document,
  • Special Characters some text,
  • these are all standard Edit Menu items from OS X
