There are several ways to contact VideoLAN.

Before contacting VideoLAN

Are you sure you can't answer the question yourself? Please check:

E-mail

Sending an e-mail is the best way to contact the team.

For VLC support, please send a mail to vlc@REMOVETHIS@videolan.org

For all non VLC support issues, please send a mail to videolan@REMOVETHIS@videolan.org. Questions relating to VLC support WILL BE IGNORED on videolan@.

Preferred languages are English (for vlc@ and videolan@) and French (for videolan@).

IRC

The IRC channel is also a good way to contact and speak to the team.

Using an IRC client, connect to irc.videolan.org or irc.freenode.net and go on the #videolan channel.

If you are in a location without direct IRC access, please try the Freenode Webchat.

Mail

If, for some reason, you really need to send postal mail, please mail to
