RTSP

VLC uses this protocol (or access module) to read data from a device or network.
This protocol is handled by the rtsp module.

LiveMedia from Live555 is a library for streaming data over a RTSP, RTP and SDP connection.

Syntax:

vlc rtsp://[user:[passwd]@]serverip:port/options
