Songbird is an open-source rival to iTunes. It's avaliable for Windows, Linux and Mac OSX.

Songbird is built with code from VLC and FireFox.

Songbird is made with code from VLC (version 0.8.4a) so should be compatable with most or all of VideoLAN's features.
