Software

Software distributed by VideoLAN is usually licensed under the GNU Public License (GPL) version 2 or later, with some exceptions:

A small file called COPYING.txt comes bundled with every copy of VideoLAN software and describes copyright terms.

Content on this wiki is (probably) licensed under either the GNU Public License (GPL) or GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL)
