When I installed the vlc-0.8.6d-1.el4.rf.i386.rpm in Redhat ES release 4,following warning appeared:
I know that these warning means I should install these rpm packages before install vlc,but it is
a very hard work,I know I can use yum to install vlc automatic,but my redhat server is in
internal network and can not connect internet directly.
Who can give me a advice.

API for :sout=#duplicate command
Hi All,
Can someone help me in identifying the API's for executing following command in vlc.
- sout=#duplicate{dst=std{access=file,mux=raw,dst=D:\Work\abc.mpg}}
I cannot get off full screen
Please help me! I have recently installed VLC version 1.1.11 on my laptop running XP-SP3. My laptop is recently formatted so I may be missing software. When I play a video (any video file type) it automatically plays on fullscreen. Playback is perfect but I am unable to close fullscreen (Esc f, F11 are non responsive) and my mouse movements do not show playback bar. I cannot see a cursor and therefore I must wait until playback has ended to navigate my computer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted and defaulted settings all to no avail. VLC worked perfectly previous to my recent format so I feel that it is probably software related. Does VLC require any additional software not included in the installer bundle? Any help would be appreciated. Dom
