Bugday

Bugdays are days on which developers and users gather in IRC in order to report and document bugs, as well as trying to get them fixed.

Note that the goal is not to implement new features or finish existing work, but to put some time into bugs that due to their importance might otherwise not be looked into for ages because everyone has "something better" to do.

Bugdays will be held monthly from Friday 9 March, 2007.

Bugs to be investigated:

  • ffmpeg avi mux bug
  • identify trac tickets that need further clarifying
  • media library loading messing up --sout-keep #1047
  • update the milestone information
  • find the amd64 crash on our dvdnav plugin

Tasks:

  • setup a private developers contact information page (skype,msn,mail, phone) on the wiki
  • write Shane at FSF about the ivivio case
  • eBay case
  • GSoC
  • update the documentation, comment your LOC
